This magnificent gordo, imposing with its almost 15 cm in length and its 58 ring, is the latest in the Gilbert de Montsalvat range for the 10-year anniversary of the brand, with production limited to 1000 boxes. With a beautifully oily cape maduro, it offers raw scents of cocoa bean. After being easily lit, the creamy puffs quickly invade the palate and offer hints of nuts, backed by some notes of honey and black pepper. The tempo and the draw are excellent, permitting a harmonious and satisfying tasting session. Medium to strong, this gordo is best enjoyed after a hearty meal, as a dessert.
