A bit of history...
It is the largest distillery on the island with a production of 3 million liters per year.
The distillery was completely rebuilt in 1974 and is now extremely modern with only a few people (11) working in the distillery. The manager of the distillery today is Billy Stitchell who follows in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
In the stills room, large windows overlook the sea and the island of Jura, allowing to observe seals playing in the water.
