Established in Nicaragua, NUB launched a line that offers the amateur the luxury of being quickly in the heat of the action. Aficionados are almost instantly in the midst of what is considered the best part of the cigar: the second third, this moment of balance between power and aromas, known as "divin". These wonderful little vitolas can be divided into three thirds, "foin", "divin" and "purin", corresponding to the first third, the second third and the final. The makers of NUB elaborated their cigars in such a way that the first puffs would instantly deliver power, but still preserve the linearity of the smoking. This exploit was possible with the important and unusual ring gauge: up to more than 2.54 cm for the stoutest (the Nub Habano 466) to make sure the smoke is very ample and can deliver the aromas. Besides, NUB has selected the most powerful part of the leaves to give the cigar its strength. NUB comes in three varieties: Habano, Connecticut and Cameroon. The first one, made from a Habano wrapper and composed of 100% Nicaraguan tobacco is the strongest and has four sizes, including a torpedo; the second one, made from a Connecticut wrapper and binders grown in Ecuador and fillers in Nicaragua, offers three sizes; the third one is made from a Cameroon wrapper, Nicaraguan binders and fillers. The latter offers a choice of four sizes, including a torpedo.
