Partagas cigars, created in 1827 and branded in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas, is one of the oldest and most widely known brands of Cuban cigars. In 1889, when Dom Jaime Partagas died, the brand became the property of Ramon Cifuentes until its nationalization.
