Plasencia's new Cosecha line is a beautiful tribute to Honduras, the country that opened its doors to the Plasencia family after the Nicaraguan revolution of 1979. The Spanish word Cosecha translates into French as "harvest". Plasencia Cosecha 149 commemorates the Plasencia family's 149th annual tobacco harvest in 2014. The family felt that the aged tobacco from the 149th harvest was now ready to be processed, so this tobacco was released for cigar production. The Plasencia Cosecha 149 is a Honduran puro for which tobacco from different Honduran farms of the Plasencia family was used.
