For the 12th consecutive year, Davidoff presents an exceptional limited edition to celebrate the Chinese New Year with elegance, in honor of the dragon.

The Davidoff Masterpiece Year of the Dragon 2024 humidor contains 88 beautiful Gran Toro cigars, made from 8 different varieties of tobacco from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Mexico and Ecuador, which are 60 years old. This unique cigar surprises with its uncut foot, allowing you to enjoy the first 2.5 centimetres without the wrapper. This requires extreme precision, not only during rolling, but also during blending. The master blenders have created an intriguing shift in flavors and sensations as soon as you get to the wrapper, adding depth and complexity to the taste.

Aromatic profile

This Gran Toro begins with earthy, woody and herbaceous notes. As we reach the wrapper, the flavors evolve into rich nuances of roasted nuts, cream and subtle licorice. Intensity rises in the second third, with dominant notes of sweet honey, white pepper and citrus. The final third of the cigar unveils fresh spices and oak wood that complement the main dark chocolate flavors.

Humidor design

The lid features a fascinating mosaic of glass and mirrors representing the dragon in all its splendor. The creators behind the work are Chinese artist Zhang Zhaoying and French mosaic artist Sika Viagbo.

This special edition pays tribute to the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dragon, captivating cigar aficionados with its unique character and exquisite flavors. The Dragon is a zodiacal symbol associated with power and charisma.
