Since 2017, the Oliva and Vandermarliere families have collaborated to develop an exclusive version of the Serie V Melanio, designed specifically as a limited edition for international markets. One of their most exceptional creations was presented in July 2023 at the PCA trade show: the Oliva Serie V Melanio Edición Año 2023 Figuriño.
The wrapper leaf, with its oily sheen, is carefully grown from the finest Sumatran seeds in Ecuador's ideal climate. The tobaccos used for the wrapper and filler come from Nicaraguan plantations and have been aged for five years. Composed mainly of carefully fermented Ligero tobaccos, this structure offers a rich, full-bodied flavor that will seduce the most demanding palates.
