The CAO Arcana Thunder Smoke Toro Grande cigar is the brand's first cigar to incorporate tobacco from South Africa and Zimbabwe, in addition to the emblematic Cameroon leaf. Its name, inspired by the majestic Victoria Falls, refers to ‘Mosi-Oa-Tunya’, or ‘The Smoke that Thunders’, in homage to the Sotho people of Zimbabwe.
This unique blend is based on an Olancho San Augustin (OSA) wrapper from Honduras and a wrapper from Mexico's San Andrés valley, giving this cigar a truly international stamp. Part of the Arcana series, dedicated to rare tobaccos and traditional fermentation techniques, Thunder Smoke follows in the footsteps of the famous Mortal Coil and Firewalker, which have captivated connoisseurs with their unique processes.
Presented in Toro Grande format, this medium-bodied cigar offers a balanced palette of aromas, combining earthy notes, hints of hazelnut and subtle touches of sultana. Carefully rolled in the General Cigar factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, Thunder Smoke represents a bold new exploration of CAO expertise.
