This plantation, which is organically farmed and naturally irrigated by a mountain stream, benefits from a unique microclimate combining fertile soils, cool nights and intense sunshine. The tobacco grown there thus develops a rare aromatic complexity. Finca San Julián occupies a special place in the Plasencia family's heritage. Used for livestock farming and coffee cultivation until 1961, it was purchased in 1998 by Nestor Plasencia Sr., who gave it to his wife, whose family had once lived there.
