The Opus X Angel's Share range celebrates the centenary of the Arturo Fuente Cigars Company.
In 2012, a devastating fire struck the Fuente factory, destroying many precious tobaccos that had been stored since the fifties and even forties. These tobaccos were carefully preserved in anticipation of the company's centenary. Unfortunately, this tragic event turned much of these historical reserves to ashes.
The term "Angel's Share" echoes a winemaking tradition, where it refers to the portion of wine that evaporates from barrels during aging. According to belief, this portion 'stolen' by the angels blesses the remaining wine. Inspired by this notion, the Opus X Angel's Share range features a slightly different composition than the classic line, with a reduced proportion of ligero. This makes the Opus X Angel's Share Robusto cigar milder and more accessible, providing a less intense but equally refined tasting experience.
